Royston Auction Company, based in Elizabethton, Tennessee, is a full-service auction firm specializing in the sale of real estate, personal property, equipment, and comprehensive asset liquidation. Serving the Tri-Cities area—including Johnson City, Kingsport, and Bristol, we are dedicated to providing professional auction services tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

Travis

Travis C. Royston

Travis Royston, Owner, Auctioneer and Principal Broker, has been actively engaged in real estate Auctions since 1997. Mr. Royston was the 2006 Tennessee State Champion Auctioneer and competed in the International Auctioneers Competition in Orlando, FL. Mr. Royston is one of only 1500 Auctioneers in the world to have earned the prestigious Certified Auctioneers Institute (C.A.I.) Designation. This is the highest level of education awarded in the auction industry and is a three-year program through the National Auctioneers Association at the University of Indiana. Mr. Royston has also obtained the Certified Estate Specialist Designation, and the Graduate Personal Property Appraisers Designation where he conducts hundreds of appraisals of Equipment, Machinery, Tools, and vehicles each year.

Travis has been an active member of the Tennessee Auctioneers Association and The National Auctioneers Association where he has served on various committees and was appointed by the President of the NAA to the long range planning committee. Travis has served as an instructor at the Nashville Auction School and has conducted numerous educational seminars within his profession.

In addition to the above Mr. Royston has extensive development and construction experience in the local market. He is the owner of Royston Development, a full service Residential and Commercial Construction Company and is a State Licensed Contractor.

Travis is a life long native of Elizabethton, TN and during this time he has served his community in various positions. Travis has been an active member of the Carter County Chamber of Commerce where he has served on various committees as well as master of ceremonies for numerous events. Travis has served as a Board of Director for the Elizabethton Soccer Association, the Elizabethton National Baseball League and the Elizabethton American Little League. Mr. Royston has coached youth baseball, football, soccer, and basketball for over 15 years. Mr. Royston is a current member and has served the Carter County Cattlemen’s association as well as the local 4-H and agricultural programs for many years. He has also worked long side most all of the local County Planning Commissions, as well as surrounding private and governmental leaders. Travis and Lori along with their kids own and operate Rolling R Farms where they enjoy raising purebred Angus cattle.

Mr. Royston graduated from Elizabethton High School, Attended Northeast Community College, Graduated from Nashville Auction School, as well as graduated from the D & D School of Real Estate.

Travis and his wife Lori Cole Royston have three children Kaysi, Caleb, and Cash.

Lori

Lori Royston

Lori Royston, Realtor and Owner, handles all of the day-to-day operations for Royston Auction Company. She serves as the auction logistics and operations coordinator as well as auction set up supervisor. On auction day Lori serves as the clerk and oversees all office operations.

Mrs. Royston is a graduate of Happy Valley High School, Attended Northeast State Community College, and D & D school of Real Estate. Lori obtained her Graduate Personal Property Appraisers Designation and oversees all appraisal activities for antiques and household goods. Lori is a member of the National Auctioneers Association, the Carter County Chamber of Commerce, is a current member of the Tennessee Association of Realtors and the Carter County Cattleman’s Association.

Lori and her husband Travis have three children Kaysi, Caleb, and Cash.
